Shop Fox W1848 Oscillating Floor Drill Press
The Shop Fox W1848 13-1/4″ Oscillating Floor Drill Press can be used for efficient contour sanding in addition to traditional drilling.
Converting from drilling operations to sanding operations takes a matter of seconds with just a few tool-free steps.
The W1848 is fitted with a 1–16mm JT33 keyed drill chuck, offers up to 3-1/8″ of travel and a drilling capacity of 5/8″ through mild steel.
With the oscillating feature, the oscillating stroke length is 3/4″.
The 12-3/8″ diameter, round table allows for drilling and surface sanding at different angles as it tilts 90° in both directions.
The table has a clearance hole for use while sanding. This clever design incorporates a 2-1/2″ dust collection port so that sanding is less messy.
Like all Shop Fox drill presses, the W1848 comes with a 2-year warranty which covers parts and assures the unit is free from factory defects. (Consumables are not covered by the warranty.)
